Effective Date: July 19, 2026 Last Updated: July 19, 2026

BusyUp ("we," "us," "our," or "BusyUp") is owned and operated by Infodoor (located at infodoor.ca). BusyUp operates the website located at busyup.com (the "Site" or "Platform") and provides AI-powered content creation, video generation, search engine optimization (SEO), and marketing campaign tools (collectively, the "Services").

Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit our Site or use our Services. By accessing or using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Site or use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, information collected automatically during your use of our platform, and information obtained from third-party integrations.

A. Information You Provide Directly * Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. We use Firebase Authentication (provided by Google) for secure sign-in. * Billing and Payment Information: Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store or process your raw credit card or bank details on our servers. Stripe collects and processes payment information under its own privacy policy. We store only metadata returned by Stripe (e.g., Stripe Customer ID, subscription status, and credit/token transaction history). * User Content and Inputs: We collect any text, images, video assets, brand voice profiles, writing samples, templates, URLs for scraping, and campaign settings that you upload or input into the Platform. Note: You are advised not to input highly sensitive, confidential, or third-party personal data into our prompts or brand voice samples. * Communication Information: If you contact us directly (e.g., via `admin@busyup.com` or customer support), we collect the content of your message, attachments, and any other information you choose to provide.

B. Information Collected Automatically * Log Data: Our servers automatically record information sent by your browser or device, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages visited, time spent, and timestamps. * Usage Details: We track your usage of the platform, including credit usage, types of content generated, video generation pipeline logs, and feature preferences to manage the service and troubleshoot performance. * Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain your session, authenticate your requests, and analyze usage patterns.

C. Third-Party Integrations and Data Processing * Generative AI Engines: We utilize Google Generative AI (Gemini API) to process text inputs, brand profiles, and script outlines to generate copy and scripts. The data passed to these APIs is subject to Google's data privacy policies. We make no representations or warranties regarding Google's compliance with data protection laws. * Scraping Services: When you request the platform to analyze an external URL, our scraper fetches the public HTML content of the target website to extract context. We perform SSRF (Server-Side Request Forgery) protection checks on the target hostnames/IP addresses.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your personal information for the following business and legal purposes: * To Provide and Maintain Our Services: To manage your account, authenticate logins, handle subscriptions and credits via Stripe, and execute video generation pipelines. * To Improve and Personalize Our Services: To refine our AI generation templates, analyze platform performance, troubleshoot system issues, and optimize the rendering/stitching of video campaigns. * To Communicate with You: To send transactional emails (e.g., invoices, credit balance alerts, support responses) and administrative notifications. * For Security and Compliance: To detect and prevent fraudulent transactions, abuse, Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attacks, and violation of our Terms of Service. * Legal Obligations: To comply with applicable tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements under Canadian and Ontario law.

3. How We Share and Disclose Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only under the following circumstances: * Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform, including: * Google Firebase / Google Cloud Platform: For database hosting (Firestore), user authentication, storage of media assets (Cloud Storage), and cloud functions. * Google Generative AI (Gemini API): For processing user prompts, brand voices, and content generation. * Stripe: For billing, subscription processing, and transaction management. * Legal and Regulatory Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency). * Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of company assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

4. Data Security and Retention

A. Security Measures We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to safeguard your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We utilize secure HTTPS encryption for all data transit, Firebase security rules to restrict database access, and Stripe's PCI-compliant checkout integrations. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is 100% secure. You acknowledge and agree that we cannot guarantee absolute security and that you use our platform at your own risk.

B. Data Retention We retain your personal data and uploaded assets (such as custom brand voice profiles, images, and rendered videos) for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with our Services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data, except where we must retain certain information (e.g., invoices, transaction logs) to comply with legal, tax, or auditing obligations under Canadian law.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction (including Canada under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act [PIPEDA], the Province of Ontario, the European Economic Area under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the following rights regarding your personal data: * Access and Portability: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. * Correction/Rectification: You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information. * Erasure/Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and personal data, subject to legal retention exceptions. * Restriction or Objection to Processing: You have the right to restrict or object to how we process your personal data under certain conditions. * Withdrawal of Consent: If we process your data based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at admin@busyup.com.

6. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the one in which you reside (primarily the United States, where Google Cloud and Stripe servers are located). These countries may have data protection laws that are different from those of your country. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations.

7. Third-Party Links and Actions Our Site or Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or safety of any third-party websites, and you access them entirely at your own risk.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for or directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us at admin@busyup.com, and we will take steps to delete such information immediately.

9. Limitation of Liability for Privacy Breaches To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Infodoor, its owners, directors, officers, employees, or agents be liable for any damages (direct, indirect, special, or consequential) arising out of or related to any unauthorized access, hacking, data breach, or data loss, unless caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or operational, legal, or regulatory requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of the policy. You are advised to review this policy periodically.
